Our goal is to raise enough funds to fill, ship, and deliver a shipping container of 1000 Backpack Beds to local agencies in and near Vencice Beach, California. With the estimated cost of $120,000 for the container ($120/per unit shipped x 1000) we can help those without shelter obtain the most award winning ultra-lightweight shelter available.

About Backpack Beds for Venice Beach Homeless

In Venice Beach, California many homeless are subject to living without shelter and make due with items found in local dumpsters and creating makeshift housing. Every week on Friday, the Los Angeles Department of Sanitation cleans the beach and boardwalk of "trash" and in turn removes any shelters the homeless have. We want to provide 1000 Backpack Beds to help area homeless gain dignity and shelter.

All proceeds will go directly to purchasing the Backpack Beds. We are working with 501 c (3) charitable organizations and your donation may be tax deductible. If you need a receipt, we will work with our charitable organizations to provide a receipt.
